One of the problems today in looking for resources is not finding them. It is sorting through all the hits on Google to find the resources that are useful to you. Here are two synopsis lists that you might find helpful. The first is a list of Science Simulations compiled by Diane Kasparie. Simulations are a great way to get students involved, to explore science and to integrate STEM practices into the classroom. The second resource is a compilation of STEM sites that can be used by teachers and students. It is the STEM Engineering Resource LiveBinder. LiveBinder is your virtual 3 Ring Binder for organizing materials and it is a great resource in itself. The STEM Engineering Resource Binder puts a wealth of STEM resources at your finder tips. Another LiveBinder worth looking at along the same line is the 100+ STEM Websites & Webtools for Teachers. These resources might make some great summer reading as you prepare for next year.
Science and Teaching News is a blog established for the purpose of helping science teachers who use McGraw-Hill Science and Health Products and to add a few of my favorite sites and technology tips.
