Looking for a new way to communicate with your students? Try the free Classroom Management site from Edmodo. www.edmodo.com. It is teacher like site that allows you to upload a library of documents, powerpoints, jpgs, links, etc, and share them with your classes. These can be assigned to students. It comes complete with a gradebook, polling features, messaging, quiz feature, an much more. You can also join a variety of groups with edmodo that will have you interacting with teachers across the globe! Two big advantages over moodle are you can set it up as an individual teacher and its on the web so students can access it anywhere. Give it a try!
