As a student going up it was always great fun to do projects. I can remember my first diorama of one of the biomes. I thought it was pretty cool for an 8 year old. I know that if I could look at it now I would be totally embarrassed. Thanks heavens some things weren't recorded for posterity, but if you are looking for a great project idea that your students can have some fun with, try to have them create a virtual museum box that contains relics from past ages or items that make up certain theory. The ideas can be limitless. Visit http://museumbox.e2bn.org/
Example: http://museumbox.e2bn.org/creator/viewer/show/28 The site provides tools to build up an argument or description of an event, person or historical Period by placing items in a virtual box. You can create a virtual museum of materials including images, video, audio, documents and more.
